“Pines at Albany Creek”
8×8 Original acrylic painting on backed wood panel (unframed, ready to hang)
Chippewa County, MI 2026
Tucked behind one of my favorite spots to hang out with trout, beaver, and other woodland creatures is a little opening in the pines that seems to open up into another world when the sun is hitting it just right. I loved this moment when the sun was dappling against the brighter than normal tree trunk, keeping all their tree friends hidden in shadow behind them.
A sandy place with flowing water and towering pines, I find hope, peace and optimism here. I hope this shines a light on your day as well!
