Eric VanSingel (he/they) studied art at Western Michigan University, then spent years building a career outside of it but never quite far enough away to escape the need to create.

Their work has moved through a few distinct periods over the years. Eric's early work consists of more conceptual mixed-media pieces exploring color and the chaos of a busy mind. Eric Launched "The Digital Art Ranch" focusing on portraiture and commissioned illustrations. When the pandemic hit Eric was able to pivot launching their professional game master business. Their current work continues to leverage the commercial success of small group improvisational theatre in the gaming format but also features a return to their passions of the natural world, creatures we share our lives with, and the relationship of color.

Eric is currently based in De Tour Village, MI, building out new work inspired by the Great Lakes region. When they are not working in studio you can find Eric on long hikes, likely with a fishing pole near by.
