“Flowers at De Tour Boat Launch”
8×8 Original acrylic painting on backed wood panel (unframed, ready to hang)
I really like walking out on this little peninsula at the boat ramp in De Tour. I have caught a total of one fish here, a smallmouth bass early in the season. He was a keeper for sure but with most of what I catch he was released to swim another day.
I enjoy the purple and magentas mixing in here with the cooler greens on the bit of land behind the calm water. Most people would consider these weeds, I call them wildflowers. There is something pretty in everything, even if most people don’t see it.
